squids stay away from me

i don't like it when someone comes up to me and follows me so much it makes me nervous. i don't feel i have the lead foot under control and when someone is behind me i tend to go faster. i rather follow and i'll stay in formation. there have been alot of squids around my area lately and yesterday a dude had gear on, but he had the helmet strapped to the rear seat. i don't care if you wear gear or not, but if you see me other than bike night and you don't have gear on stay away from me. you maybe a great rider, but i just think your a dumbass and i don't need to be around you.

so does that make me a dick?

or just i don't want to be seen as a squid.

i want to drink, but only to kill a certain few brain cells and i don't care how many i have to take out to get to them.

dosent make you sound like a dick.....

dose however make you sound like a bit pissy whos a little concerned for his fellow rider.

Everyone needs a healthy way to relax, mine Church, and two wheels, a stretch of winding road, and a pipe loud enough to give me headaches and make squirrels explode. (Fixed curtousey of PWRMAD)

Nothing is impossible the second we say ill try your already admiting you can be defeated, and the second you say i cant or its to hard youve already failed.

I have never had a problem with other bikers following me in the past. Usually, the would stay near me and break off at some point down the line or I would. Squids or not, my experiences have been ok up to this point. I could see where this could cause a problem, though. I will often ride up on other riders as well and stay in a formation behind them until I break off to other directions. I will always leave a lot of space, however.

If you are that worried about someone riding behind you then move over and let them pass.

Sounds that easy to me

Otherwise this thread is useless.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

I've had a few get right up besides me and nod at me like we are long time riding buddies.

Sorry, I don't care for experienced riders to be right up besides me, let alone squids. I need my space to maneuver in case of issues with the road (which are plentyful in this wonderful state).

Now, a squid following up in proper formation and spacing behind me...it does bother me that someone I don't know is linked up with me, but I see strength in numbers. It just makes us both more visible.

I can understand being concerned by riding with someone unknown in close proximity to you and not knowing how well they can brake or avoid something. If you let someone behind you consciously (or subconsciously) cause you to go faster despite you not wanting to, you have some riding technique to workout with yourself first.

I don't mind riding with squids I don't know. As long as proper distance is used and there's no wheelies/stoppies going on next to me I'm fine. Once you start that obnoxious shit right next to me, that's when we have a problem.

Just wave em on by.....why let them stay behind you if you're not comfortable??? I only ride close to the people I've put on thousands of miles on with.

Simple solution instead of making a fookin thread about it... bike you don't want on your 6 is present. Lead said biker to a curvy road. Twist throttle poosey. If you can't lose him there you have nothing to complain about.

it's weird that this has just started lately around where i live (unlike other years)and they do not follow in formation and when i get away from them they think i'm playing i guess. ok true i didn't think of slowing down and i do think ridding in numbers is something we should do when it is possible. maybe i feel kinda responsible if they get cut off or something cause they where following me.

this is more of a rant than anything and i don't expect anything to come of it

Ride your ride if you dont want them behind you do some evasive maneuvers and lose them works every time especially when they don't know how to weave a little in traffic

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

There are only two people I know who I trust enough to ride next to, and even them I don't like riding next to or too close to if I don't have to. You never know when someone is going to cut you off and if that happens you have half the space to react with twice the people trying to use that space. That just equals bad times in my opinion.
