Now how is potentially causing an accident going to solve anything? And how are you going to feel if whatever reflex move they do causes a chain reaction that runs a school bus full of kids off the road?

The worst thing is that he is just sitting in the passing lane holding up traffic. That is highway driving pet peeve #1. I want to get a neon sign for my rear window that says THE LEFT LANE IS FOR PASSING ASSHOLE!

My favorite was a guy doing a power point presentation while driving at night. I was able to inch him to the right of the road, past the rumble strips. I almost had him hitting the reflectors and mileage signs, but then he realized his problem.

Word of Warning, you really have to be ready for the reaction. They typically will pull the wheel in your direction.

I've done that a few times. And if the cop does pull them over and see's a book on their lap, or in the seat next to them, or better yet they dunk it under the seat and the cop sees that....

Ill have to admit, I have been guilty of texting a little bit while driving. But I keep my eyes on the road.
I drive on 88 every day and I notice at least 90% of people LOOKING DOWN at their phones, texting or doing whatever they are doing. This isn't just a glance, it's 3-5 seconds of not looking at the road. A LOT can happen in that time. Especially in rush hour.
I've also seen my fair share of people reading the newspaper and books while driving.
