My Vegas trip last week has me hooked on roulette. I love that game, even if I lose money. If you do it right you could have hours of entertainment and the interaction with the others at your table can be quite fun :) I am typically not a gambler, but that game is fun :) Anyone else like this game?

I started with roulette. Then moved to some stuff with better odds like video poker and blackjack. I go to Vegas a couple times a year now.:lmao::lmao:

I heart Roulette. It's the best way to get drunk in Vegas, and the best way to stretch those funds when you're smart.

Video Poker can be veerrry pleasant. I spent a 20 and with $1.25 left hit four of a kind aces and got 200 dollars. Sometimes Video Poker however just lets you drain a few twenties in too little a time.

Another friend won $1,915 on a 10 dollar buy in (Royal Flush)...that asshole...

When you're ready to move up, Craps is the best team gamble sport with the most energy. It's has the highest highs and lows I've experienced, but everyone is together in that same sense.

I don't care what anyone says. Blackjack sucks a big flacid one. Never before have I lost 100 dollars so fast. I'll never play it again.

LOL, I play blackjack for hours. I've gotten free and very cheap stays because of my ability to stretch out my $$$'s at the blackjack table

I love roulette. Come over sometime and I'll explain my "System" to win roulette. :)

Mathematically, supposed to have the best odds in the house. I have played a few times, but I find it confusing as hell. I think I am just too slow to understand all of the options.

Basic Craps play - roll the dice. 7 or 11 wins. If you roll a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, then that is your point. Now, you want to hit your point before you roll a 7.

Players are betting on all the numbers. So if 8 is your point, and you roll a 4, 9, 10, 6, 9, 5, then an 8, you made 6 winning rolls.

Worst case, you roll a 10, then a 7. Goodbye.

There are different odds depending on the point and which number you are betting.

Sounds like a CLSB outing to Joliet or Elgin this summer is in order.

In most houses, correct. Followed by video poker.

Ohh yeah the word "vegas" itself is heaven to me. I like gambling. Started playing roulette at first it was fun but when the "00" or "0" comes out it sucks! Then tried craps same thing it is fun together with other buddies but when the "7" comes out totally sucks. Then my favorite is black jack. I can be on that table in hours, the key is do not play single hand (1 bet) all the time mixed it up once in awhile. Dont mind those loosers next to you if they tell you not to do that. You can bet as manny hand as you want f**k them. Ofcourse you have to double bet on "10" or "11. "Timming is everything babyyyyy".
Nextime bet for Manny Pacman...FTW

I just read up on craps. Damn that's a headache. I guess Ill need to go watch it somewhere and ask questions. I am going to Vegas again in about 2 weeks and want to try it but I want to go there knowing what the hell I am doing.

only worry about pass/fail and the come bet (the best odds in the house) at first. The rest will come as you play

Go to some of the smaller casinos (Flamingo, Imperial Palace, etc) and play craps.

They sometimes have little courses at certain times of day too, and the thing about craps most of the time is like I said: Team sport.

People cheer on each other and many are willing to help someone new to the table because they know exactly what it looked like the first time they stepped up. Find someone who doesn't look like a deuche, saddle up to the table, ask questions, just watch for a while, and then re read those rules again. Then when you're ready, throw some chips down, and give it a whirl.

Those rules will make muuuch more sense after seeing the game played and trying a few rounds.

craps ftw! my "system" while at the casino? if they're bringing me free drinks, be sure to get something worthwhile! two guys next to me one night had to leave the table because they were pissing everybody off so much betting against the shooter. within 10 minutes the entire table was threatening to kick his ass. it's a great game to play, people just get overwhelmed by all the action, options, and math and can't focus.

when i was in vegas a few weeks ago, i took my system a bit too far and was on a drunken run when i accidentally put $200 on the hard 8 and landed it. then i blew it all at the strip club within 3 hours:cheers:

Best game in the casino. Pulled down $600 two weeks ago after drinking all night for free at Horseshoe casino. Good times!!
