Dodge Circuit EV electric car?

Looks pretty snazy with some good hp numbers, the mileage doesn't look all that great 150-200 miles. I'm sure the price is outrageous too.

the electric bill will outweigh the cost of the car, i wonder where the batterys are located, i bet there is a ton of body roll.

Well, it's rated 200 kW at the motors. Figure about 50 kW average demand over about 4 hours (150 mi range / 4 hr = 38 mph average, and you're not going to be WFO all the time to get that range), so guess 200 kWh per charge. Electricity's about 12/kWh right now, so $24 per charge or 16 per mile. Gas at $2.50 a gallon matches that for an engine running around 16 mpg. That's not too bad.

I admit I'm pulling numbers out of air but they're not really forthcoming about that kind of data.

As far as body roll: maybe, but with Li-ion batteries, probably manageable.
