Anyone heading to Nielsen's for Spyder test rides on Friday?

Troy and I signed up for the Can-am Spyder testi rides at 12pm this Friday. Any other CLSBers we can expect to see there?

Wouldn't my trying out one, but the prices stop me in my tracks. $16,199 and up. From what I hear, the accelerate fairly well, but cornering is work.

I did a demo ride on one last year at Nielsens (my local dealer) and they were pretty fun. Definitely different since they don't lean.

But if you're at all curious about them, it's worth checking out. The reps are there to tell you about it, not pressure you into buying one.

Pretty sure DGY has test rides the end of the month also. Check them out if you can't make this or is to far.

Not jacking this thread but I test drove the Spyder at Lake Co. Powersports a few months ago during their open house. The machine is prepped and ready to go any day. You don't need to sign up and wait till a certain Friday. Show up and ride off!

Eva signed us up back in Feb at their booth in the IMS.

Aside from being on pavement instead of snow, I suspect they'll feel alot like a sled. Similar size, ergos, power, etc. Should be fun

without that sliding around feeling, and it would probably be frowned upon to have a flask in the back trunk.
