So then it is ok to wheelie by them as long as your doing the speed limit? Just Curious.

3 hrs too late for my brother. Got picked off by that exact crew early this morning. 70 in a 55. Not a good week for my family on I-55 this week.

I got tagged Tuesday night on the way home from Twisted Spoke at I-55 and County Line. I knew better but didn't think the trooper came out from under 1st Ave.

I was wondering how long it was going to take for IL cops to take the same suit as those dirty WIS cops.

Oh man, that sucks, bet you were hauling too. What did he get you for?

All along I55 from Pulaski to Rt. 53 both directions is bad now.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Lets just say he let me off easy. I was behaving in traffic and when it opened up I sped up enough to get into trouble.

I'm fine with it though. I haven't had a ticket in about 2-3 years. It is just a reminder why I don't like riding on the highway at night.

They are out in full force this year, already tagged by laser in Feb, don't want to get hit again. Also people, AVOID court if possible lol. You have to pay court fines, ching ching ching. Better to send the money in and not see these folks as they will double dip if you show up to court .

I don't know if this still works, but, if the radar cop isn't in court, the ticket writing cop is only going on hear-say. That used to get tossed.

Also.......in downtown LaGrange, north boun from 47th st to ogden and south bound the same. Some new digital speed signs. About half the size of a regular posted sign. They read out speeds, every once & a while a strobe goes off........maybe taking pictures. These things are easily portable. they move them around. They just slip onto a bracket that's already on a post. They just seem to move them randomly. But usually in that stretch of road.
