Paid off my truck the other day!!!

So I had about 2 payments let after making a payment 2 days before this. I have money saved in savings so I said screw it and made the last 2 payments. So I am now an owner of a 2003 Dodge Durango 5.9 V8 with under 38,000 miles on it
next month I will be calling to see how much we own on the camper because that is almost paid off and I'll be paying that off also. I never paid off a vehicle, I always got rid of them before they were paid off.. well besides the Camry, but I paid cash for that.

It's a great feeling. We made ends meet, but we couldn't really save and I hated that. We have money in savings but I hated it that it wasn't growing as fast as I wanted it too. So I changed my direct deposit so now I'm adding to is and I'll be changing my 401k also and put as much as I can in.

I should be done with my car in a few months. I can't wait, Wife's car is paid off, so I'll be car payment-less for at least a few years, both cars are still in tip top shape.

Good job. Now pay the next one off faster or buy used and pay cash.

It doesn't even have 38,000 miles on it and it runs perfect, so it should run w/o a problem for years. I hope to get at least 2 more years out of the Camry also.

Man, the last time I paid off a vehicle... right before the last payment, I told my dad I should just call the bank to tell them to keep the title because something would happen. 2 weeks later, a guy in an Expedition from Ohio plowed unto me and totaled my Grand Prix. I miss that car.
