chinese drywall making you ill

saw this on the news. anyone that had a home built probably since 2001, may had chinese drywall used.

some reason, the drywall was made with sulfar and it tends to offgas, giving an ammonia type odor. Anything coppor will discolor and turn black.

The last time I heard this news (a month or so), is that the chinese drywall where only distributed in Florida and I hope thats true.

sad we import drywall when one of the worlds largest producers (US gypsum) is here in the states

They were importing it because during the 2001-2005 time frame, the US was out of it.
