ATV in Aurora

I was riding down Eola near New York a few days ago when I saw some guy riding an ATV down the oncoming lanes. Right when he saw me, he popped up the front end and kept going on two wheels for like a block. Funniest thing I've seen. He was wearing a helmet, but you could tell he was laughing the whole time....I would be. BTW, what's the penalty for riding an ATV on the road?

Probably a couple of moving violations, I know they can impound it if they really feel like being boners. That is pretty funny though.

I don't remember the specifics, as it was over ten years ago, but it was a dozen tickets. Took the cop two hours. He even got the vehicle code book out of the trunk.

In South Dakota you can drive them on any roads you want to, just has to have lights. My first day I was there I went to Walmart and saw more than one parked in the lot like a regular vehicle.

That's probably my neighbor, Dan. He rides his around all the time, he's been living down off of Eola and Haffienrichter since before all of the new housing was built. He lives in a farm house.

Spotted him again today on Fifth riding on the sidewalk away from Eola. I figure if a cop spots him there...and they're always on that street, he could just turn into the backyards and disappear in the neighborhood.
