Stuck at work

So I came into work today in a pretty good mood because I found out my buddy in the hospital is doing much better. I've also been trying to think of a way to get out of here early to make it to the drive in for terminator/star trek. I open up my schedule today to find out that I requested today off about 6 months ago. I'm stuck here for a half day now to cover the work load.

Lolz, did you request the day off in anticipation for Star Trek and Terminator 6 months in advance?

We offer three kinds of service @ Resurrection

You can pick any two
GOOD service CHEAP won't be FAST
GOOD service FAST won't be CHEAP
FAST service CHEAP won't be GOOD

I'd love to help but I don't chase parts.

LOL, I'm happy that I'm going to see them, but as far as requesting off for them thats a negative. I guess I wanted a 4 day weekend for memorial day and forgot about it.

I requested most of my days off for this year back in december. I didn't have anything planned for this weekend so it slipped my mind.

Sorry your laid off right now, but I know how that feels. I've been laid off from 2 companies in the past 6 years - it sucks. My company is doing lay offs too, but there is no reason for you to be a dick about it.

People get laid off for a reason, cause they suck as employees.
