Suspension Tuned

Just got back from Safety First Racing and I have to say that I am amazed at how much of a difference it makes when you have the suspension tuned. Don't ask me what it is set at because I forgot.

If I were to describe in a word how the bike feels now I would say "nimble". Before that it felt "heavy". For those who haven't had their suspension tuned, I say get it done soon and talk to Kevin at Safety First. It makes a world of a difference.

I would definitely give Kevin at Safety First my business again. Great guy and really explained a lot about rebound, compression, settings, etc. I learned something new today and that's always a good thing. Props to Kevin and crew.

How Much $$ did it set ya back? - I have no prob with how the Duke is set (fact Setting) and have always been curious if it could be better if tuned by a pro

$39. Worth every penny and to be honest I thought it would have been a lot more.

I had the same deal on my R1. I thought I was happy with the way it handled until I had it set right for me.

You can ride around just fine with the "home grown" settings or you can try "Primo" and ride a whole new high.

Ask around for people to get ya started in the right direction. I had a friend set the basics and then I told him what the bike was doing and he'd tell me which way to adjust what and how much of a change to start with.

If you ride like there's no tomorrow, today will be a BLAST!
