Taping a cell phone

I found this on another site, this is some scary crap

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCyKcoDaofg

http://www.flexispy.com/

Don't leave your phone unattended and put a passcode lock on it. I have mine set up to lock after 15 mins of not using it. I do that for work in case I lose my cell phone outside. This will help people from getting my info, emails and stuff.

Ok, did anyone else find it strange about the messages/calls the mom and daughter were getting? Like it was a life of death situation "the calls came for FOUR MONTHS"..Ok..shut your phone off and get a new number it's really that simple..four months of phone calls..and after say day 1 of it would you not think about doing this?
I also just realized that Purdue guy talked to us when I was doing my minor for Forensic Science..He was a pretty cool dude. Talked about how they could care less about pirated music, videos etc..
The only way the GPS thing would work would be if your phone supports that technology? Which can be turned on and off correct?

no, you can still be tracked by triangulation, or even by which cell tower is being used during a specific call. it's not quite as accurate as gps, but it will give a general idea of your location.

They said in the video they have changed the number a few times and it didn't work. Because the program is attached to the phone and not the number, this is why changing the number wouldn't work (I'm guessing). If that had known the program was on the phone, getting a new phone might have worked (again I'm guessing).

Yea, based on the flexispy website it saying the program has to be downloaded to the target phone for it to work.

I'm not too bothered by it, my cell is used more for an alarm clock then anything else.

This is the truth. I lost my cellphone 2 1/2 weeks ago and it didn't even phase me. I just reactivated my old phone and on I went. Truth be told, I rarely talk on the phone.
