You're a few months late, when LVC was closing down they were practically giving them away... I'd check with DGY first, never bought a bike from them, but i get pretty much everything else from them.

ya their shop is still full of bikes but I'm not sure if you can still buy one from them, maybe so? There are still cars parked in front of their shop everyday.

I don't know about prices, but others have gone to Corse and have been very happy. www.corsesuperbikes.com They will deliver to Illinois, and I have been told by a few people that got their bikes serviced there the work is top notch.

Had a pretty good experience at Otto Brothers Suzuki in Lyons when I got my gixxer 750 in 06. It is a small mom and pop shop. They didn't come up with any last minute surprise charges and I got the deal I wanted. Paid the retail price as the otd price. Pretty fair deal.

I keep seeing these people saying that they're picking up 08 750's for 8000 OTD. Anyone around here have that experience?

Very, Very hard to believe. The msrp on the 08 was 10.6K and the 09 is 11.7K. 8k is impossible. Even a used 06 is going to sell for 6-7k.
