Who got hail damage in Schaumburg yesterday afternoon?

Well, car I just bought a week ago (2000 model) now has small dimples all over the hood....and a couple on the rear deck....

any good places to take it to to get looked at? Most are not noticable until you get real close, with 1 on the hood that I can see from a few feet away....

Where can i get a nice matched pair of Busa's???

Just a boostedV6 for now.....

Talking

I have covered parking at work I even rode in yesterday, and it really hailed, 3/4" hail around Golf/Roselle. I did get hammered on the ride home Penny Road at Higgins was freaking underwater, and Rt 59 just north of Dundee was underwater too I think it was at least 2" deep, I sorted tippy-toed thru Today's ride was a cake walk....just a little rain.

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

I dunno about hail, but I don't think I could have gotten any wetter Saturday if I jumped into a swimming pool. Left Blackhawk on the 'Barge around 5 p.m.... skies over the track were essentially clear but a storm was definitely developing to the east. Well, by the time I hit Rockton Road/Hwy 251, it was going pretty good, and by the time I reached the next intersection, I had to pull over underneath the traffic light because I could no longer see ANYTHING, and put my feet down in ankle-deep standing water. The storm stayed right on top of me all the way down Hwy 173... wind, thunder, lightning and gobs and gobs of rain. (Ever see a "rain gob"?) I could feel the rainwater collecting in the sleeves of my leather jacket, and running down into my deerskin gloves. When I took off my gloves, water poured out. Kind of comical, in a perverse sort of way. I was soaked clear thru to my 'unmentionables'! Glad I packed my gear when I left the house this morning.

By the time I reached Hebron, I had reached my saturation point with the whole affair since I couldn't get far enough behind it, nor reach the front of it (don'tcha love the combination of standing water and tar strips at 50 mph? - I'm so glad I was on the Barge!)and figured I'd try my luck with the southern route so I headed toward Woodstock.

Well, the road dried out by the time I hit town but God wasn't done throwing challenges at me this day. Turned onto 120 and was welcomed by dozens of those ubiquitous orange signs and matching "horsies"... Road is under destruction from Woodstock all the way to Rand Road... They've scraped but not paved the western third... scraped and oiled the middle... and paved the eastern portion heading into McHenry. Just lovely. The "groove" was taking me everywhere! Then, just when the construction ended, it rained some more.

It's been a few years since I've been this wet. I'm still glad that I didn't take the car tho!
