things to ponder while drinking.

If we took all the motorcycles in the world. Faced them all due east around the planet. then at the exact same time, revved them all to redline and dumped the clutches simultaneously, could we affect the rotation of the earth faster or slower?

to answer tony's original question. i dont know if we would affect the orbit of the earth. but it does sound like a hell of a lot of fun though

Everyone needs a healthy way to relax, mine Church, and two wheels, a stretch of winding road, and a pipe loud enough to give me headaches and make squirrels explode. (Fixed curtousey of PWRMAD)

Nothing is impossible the second we say ill try your already admiting you can be defeated, and the second you say i cant or its to hard youve already failed.

I looked this up a while back oddly enough lol I wanted to see if NASA ever calculated the weigh of satellites we have put in orbit and whether or not the loss of weight could effect our revolution around the sun....yes, I was stone cold sober lol The answer is...the Earth is fucking massive like you cannot even imagine and none of this would have any effect on its strut around the universe.

The earth weighs 13,200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 lbs. That is a lot of momentum.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

If you accept the premise of the Butterfly theory, any movement of air in the atmosphere, even the fluttering of a butterflies wings, effects the weather eventually.

I thought the Butteryfly effect had to do with time travel.

The Butterfly theory is that even the slightest movement or action effects everything infinately. It states (how its name is derived) that the miniscule breeze created by the fluttering of a butterfly's wings eventually becomes hurricane force winds thousands of miles away.
What you're referring to is a movie plot that certain actions in a childhood prank kept changing and the effects of those actions kept changing the outcome.

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!
