Finally!!!!

Well after a chick got her car keyed last month the board has approved to put cameras in out condo's parking garage. You figure sine they splurge on a heated floor and heated garage a couple of camera's would be no big deal. It took them 3 years to get this passed. Thi sis after I had on crf 50 stolen also. One good thing is my spot is right near a exit door and there is a camera going in right there. We will be able to watch these cameras on oour tv's whick is even nicer. Right now we only have one camera at the front door and I think channel 47 is the channel to view what comes across this camera so you cna see who you are buzzing in. Now I will have a 24 hours access to this via my home.

Are the cameras actually going to record and or will someone be assigned to always "watch" it? Will they have it split screen on channel 47 for all camera for you all?

Its a good start...

Unfortunately this is what it took for them to take progressive steps in the matter. I'm sure it was a technology that wasn't hard for them to get too...but a good one

It's about time.. I know you've been asking for that for a while... that's awesome.
So now we don't have to "camp" in the garage to watch the "people" esp that one parked next to you...

Bikes can be replaced...people can't...ride safe!!

Oh shit. I forgot about her. She gave me a bottle of wine the other day. I need to hook Eugene up with her. Check that he is too short.

Until last year when I finally got into a house, I was the president of my condo board. Anyway, we had a number of UPS packages stolen, so the push was to install a security system. Everyone wanted one, but noone wanted to pay for it. In the end, we ended up leasing one to try to catch the thief, with no luck. I still think it was an inside job, but too dificult to prove.

Security systems can be a deterrant, but will not stop a thief, and good ones that have good coverage and are recorded or monitored are very expensive. The best security system there is, is good neighbors who question things/people out of place. We had too many owners who thought that the board was there to serve them and pick up after them as if they were living in a hotel.

Just my 2 cents.

Greg

Yeah that is one thing alot of neighbors took intrest into my Ducati whan I had it. They alway check and see what bike I have this month lol. They come up to me and tell me hey so and so wsa lookng at ur bike or hey we kicked out someone out of the garage cuz they where in here and shouldnt have been. So i got to know the people in my bldg pretty good in the last year since I have been living there the last 3 years. It is a real tight knit group of people.
