Gotta love eBay..

I just got done selling miscellaneous riding gear on eBay, looking to update things yadda, yadda...

When the items ended, I was pleasantly surprised to find that a couple of used / year old stuff went for not only more than I paid locally, but for more than is available online today! The amount due to me, does not even include shipping.

Question:
Are people that lazy, to not even check around?
I try to describe the condition and age the best I can, but I cannot believe that people are paying more than they have to for second hand stuff.

Oh well, bank error in your favor, collect $10

Have any of you overpaid for something on eBay?

or

Gotten too much for an item? (if there is such a thing)

People get caught up in the auction part, regardless of what the item is.......

only a 1.50 more, and it could be yours!

I was watching a newer-style F3 front fender auction until it ended. The final price was something like $85-90 not including shipping. The funny part is you can get a brand new one from RonAyers. Don't doubt the stupidity of people I guess. I almost wanted to email the winning bidder on his error.

edit: I just realized I left out the important ronayers price last night. It's only $72 there.

I have been ebaying it for 5 years and...........

Some of those high bidding pricks don't pay.(my bigest problem)
Some are just that stupid.
Some cant get what they are looking for cuz they live in the corn.

If your buyers have over 10 feedbacks that are good, chances of them paying is 98% people with less than 5 feedback chances drop to A LOT!

Good luck on all your future sales...

i've never sold anything on ebay but have been planning to do so.
lately alot of bars have been having those marlboro people there giving away free zippos. i was thinking about putting a couple of those on there (i've collected like 10 or 15 of them now). i figure it will all be profit anyway since i got them for free!

Sometimes you need something like yesterday, and where you need to get it doesn't have any. You'll give that extra 20 bucks to get it. I've done it! E-bay is an ass-saver sometimes.
