I really want one of these... I think.
and I almost have myself convinced I "need" one

Wife likes the black S more than the red R - I tried to explain to her about beauty being more than skin deep..

In any case.. Looks like I would be making a painting run to remove the gold on the nose as "it's hideous"

If it really was -10k OTD...
Not too shabby a deal.. Yes.. 1 year old, and we know there will be an even badderass 1198r out soon (same displacement I imagine, no need to correct - but that has always been ducati's formula)

I really like the 1098r that much more.
The 999 grew on me to a point.. but I never really *liked* it that much.
During that window of time I went with a gixxer1k over the 999 when replacing my 996

Kinda amazing how low 999r's are selling for though isn't it.
Looks be damned.. That is really one hell of a lot of motorcycle for that price.

I think 40k for a bike is a bit ridiculous - especially a street bike with upgraded parts your still gonna want to replace (doesn't stop me from wanting it.. but.. it is kinda high)

It's not $10K. It's $10K in savings off MSRP. Price is likely stil $29,995 + Fees.

Maybe I missed something. Am I stating the obvious?

I can read Jack
My question is... Knowing CCC (moreso how they used to be.. Jerry is gone now I know)

Do you think it's 39,900
- 10k
+Fee's = +/- 10k

Was sort of a joke
but I do bet "Fee's" are going to equal out to at least a couple if not a few grand

Cannot argue there and again, for the $$$, I gotta go 999r or the New Beemer - That 999r is a $34K bike for for $20K off

Probably not buying either this year.
All I seem to do with motorcycles is store the damn things anyway
everything but the SV is now sitting in a storage shed a state away [email protected]#[email protected]#$

and if i did .. even at 10k off.. I would think twice about buying it from CCC - Jerry might be gone.. and I highly doubt the new group had any idea the can of worms they were buying when they bought that place... they saw rocket high sales.. I don't think they knew there was so much resentment towards the place due to a lot of the bad practices that went on there... To be honest I would probably go the ebay route before I bought an actual ducati from CCC - I did buy some frogtogs there yesterday though
