Lottery Winner - $232 Mil to $88.5 Mil...

....after taxes - WTF??? - Now, I know a $15.00 investment that yields a $88.5M return is nice but fuck me if $232M to $88.5M seems like a kick in the dick

Trust me when I say if I came into $88.5M I would be dead within 6 mos, guarantee and I am sure at least (3) of my buddies would either be dead or well on their way with me

You know, it is pretty shitty how much they took away, but reading that story, thankfully the money isn't going to some geriatric, and to a young man and his struggling family.

Right! The payout is lower on a lump sum payment. Don't worry, you can deduct your expeditures on lotto tickets if you're keeping records.

Because to take it over 30 years is silly. First you'd have to incorporate yourself to collect your winnings to ensure that if you died before full payout someone could still collect. Don't forget to factor in inflation over time. But more importantly with even the most conservative investments you could make an awful lot of money using the lump sum. I'd lump sum it for sure.
