The '09 675 has made dramatic improvements over the 06-08 bikes. No surprise it got bike of the year. I didn't know Ape made a V4. That is very interesting. And sounds wonderful.

half the sound at 1:57 is the slider

"Why are all these people here? There are too many people on this earth. We need a new plague…"

"Thats it, nobody gets out of here alive."

Seems like an advertisement. At the end, he picks the bike that has less power and doesn't look as good....as he states. And he says it's comfy and could be used for touring. I am seriously considering getting a D675 or next year's R6, but the main reason pushing me away from the Triumph are the many claims that the bike is quite uncomfortable. I sat on it and the seat sucks ass....like cardboard. Anyone have one of these bikes? How is it really?

The seat on the 675 feels like cardboard, but isn't too bad to ride. Aftermarket seats are avaliable. Don't let a seat stop you from riding an incredible bike.

It's really sounding like the D675 might be the next SV of the future??

I wish I could rail half as well as those guys. I'm feeling the need more and more every time I'm jump in the saddle. I think I'm finally getting out of my newbness and wanting to learn to really ride...

Damn you guys are a bad influence.

The Triumph gel seat does wonders for my boney ass. I've done many 400+ mile rides without any complaints other than my knees getting a lil sore from time to time. That's not enough to stop me though. I heart my 675.

Gel Seat

There's also an Alcantara seat coming out soon but I don't have any other info on that one...other than it looks titstastic!

The 675 with the suspension done to race spek , a very light Arrow full
system and a tune is a revelation to ride..... really.

FWIW the stock seat doesn't really bother me, but I prefer a firm seat.

The Aprilia V4 was just introduced last week at Miller, it's *brand* new.
Glorious but priced in the mid 20's... even more than an 1198s.

Just love that RC8

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"
