9,000 year old Beer

and a number of other historical brews. I'm really looking forward to trying this!

http://www.scientificamerican.com/bl...hel-2009-06-05

Did you know that beer is responsible for civilization as we know it? Beer actually pre-dated bread. The latter was a by-product of brewing. If it weren't for beer, we might still be hunter-gatherers.

More evidence that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm old ass beer....

But isn't the Earth only 6500 years old according to Creationism? Wouldn't that mean that this stuff is older than God, and therefore, better than God?

9000 year old recipe, better?

I'm digging the fact that they're re-creating a piece of pre-history. The archeology and science that went into making a beer is pretty damn impressive. I like history, and I also like beer. It's a great match!

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Will definitely be trying this if only because Dogfish is brewing it. Dogfish is the shit.... used to live by one of their brewery restaurants.
