I'm waiting for 6:00pm - when most users are gone.
NDS corruption, stuck obituaries - Novell guys will know what I'm talking about. DSRAPAIR -XK2. If that doesn't work - delete bad replicas. I hope to be home today.

They are installing and OC-48. They just got done. On time. I'm a little surprised that they didn't run into any problems. I'm going home to bed now.

Man does your post bring back memories of my last job... Feel sorry for ya, bro!

3:47am on a random Saturday night: "Hey we've got 3 MCC's and a BBX that are OOS out at base station 412 over in Tower Lakes, looks like it's gonna need a hard reset to bring the site back fully INS - you wanna send a tech out there?"

God do I hate telecom....

That sucks John....I remember hearing about tha back up site while I worked there. I never got to see it though. I've also heard there is a whole trading floor as back up that mirrors the one in use. I can't believe they have a whole floor in that building sitting there doing nothing.

Blake,
Know the pain of the novell obit stuff.. I can't say I've had too much luck with that switch, Had better luck moving the master's around then forcing traffic with dstrace switches.

Just woke up. Yeah I've been on the spare trading floor. There using it for office space right now. Rows of cubicles with that 100ft celling. it's weird.
