Talking sneaky ebayer

I bid on a chainguard for the R1 last week. me and one other guy were the only bidders. I quit bidding when it got above what I wanted to pay for it. The ebayer e-mailed me this morning saying his buyer fell through and asked if I wanted it. I said yes but at my original bid not my competing bids. LOL he says "sounds good".........hmmmmmmm..........could he have been logged in as another user inflating the bid ....either way I get a chain guard out of it for 8$......woooohoooo

It's always possible. I've already busted someone for "inflating" bids.

Brian be careful!!

One thing on ebay you should know is if you buy the item "outside" of a bid and he screws you ; you have no recourse. As in ebay can't do anything for ya.

People with an item will email other bidders who lost and say they can have it at their original bid and then not send it and say tough. You cant complain about them on ebay either because you did not win an auction. It was person to person.

Hope yours is different but for 10 bucks who cares right?

I hope your wrong Labdog. i don't think he'll try that since he tried to go through ebay wit a second chance offer. I let it expire though.
