Oh, I don't know. I just think a bike of the week should be any members bike. Not just the hottest bikes out there. I like to see what people are riding. Everyone, not just those who can afford the latest bling.

yeah my shortcut to the site bypasses the main page and comes stright to the forum.

IMHO, i think we should have a Yamaha on the main page for the next ohhhh..... decade or so.

If we were running a junk yard i can deffinetly see haveing a honDUH on the main page.

Thanks Anna.....

BUSA...SCHMUSA....

I had to sell the turn signals to afford the rest of the upgrades...

-Penske in the rear, Racetech up front
-Custom map, PCIIIR, 102.5hp and a power curve that could double as a ruler
-208GPs of course, what else is there?
-Woodcraft rearsets
-LeoVince Ti exhaust
-Scott's rotary damper
-SS brake lines
-Vesrah race pads
-Sharkskins

Those that have been fortunate enough to ride this bike wil attest to its track prowess.

i dont like giving bike of the week to people that cry for it, for example that champ edition r1 will never be up there. haha, just kidding.

just post up in the photo section and it will happend eventually.

john, that shot blows and does your track bike no justice. Next time we ride I'll take a decent shot and make it BOW. And by the way, the R6 has a full system.

Hmmm interesting thread......my opinion....any jaboni can buy a late model bike, then spend $5000.00 on mods and paint that some shop did and make bike of the week. Doesn't impress me. What impresses me is buy a 9 year old bike at a garage sale for $800, that isn't running, spend about $500, to "restore it" and run the shit out of it Something like this ...........maybe

Why couldn't anyone do that? Because some don't even know how to change their oil. Old bikes rule, why? NO BIKE PAYMENTS!! No one going to steal it!! They have "real" character. They are just as much fun as new bikes and with the right rider, just as fast

So you couldnt buy a new bike and put $5,000 into it, is that what your saying?

If no one is going to steal it, your the only one who would want it anyway.

As much fun? Ive had 8 older bikes and I would not trade my new bike for ALL of them (unless I could sell them to by a new one and put $5000 into it).

And, put the "right" rider on the new bike and it wouldnt be close. Have you riden a new bike lately?
