Deals Gap

Just got back from a road trip that included driving (in the car ) through the craziest mountain roads I have ever been on. If anybody thinks that their shit don't stink and they can ride anything, go to 129 and you will get a reality check. Two lanes, no shoulder, cliff on one side and rock wall on the other. Did I mention blind corners. There were crazy bastards with their knee down on every corner, and not even crossing the center line. I would be mid corner and I biker would fly by with his head about a foot and a half from my door. IF YOU LOVE TO RIDE YOU MUST SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!! Oh yeah, did I mention the road was damp!

I'll be sportin' my "Rt. 129 Dragon" t-shirt tonight at Strats. Glad to see you appreciated the road like I did. It's quite unbelievable, isn't it? Yeowwwwww

Why all the hatin?

J/K But I am curious why you think it's photochoped. If Darryl took it, then it's authentic. Also the passenger has good form, as she is looking where he is going. Good job! Wish she was wearing a jacket and gloves though.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

I don't know, I think the dude has pretty crappy form. I looks like his upper body is center to the outside of the bike. Check out his arms.

However, I like the girl!

it'd be a better form if his outside arm is more on the tank, right?

Its better form if he gets his ass off the seat a bit. if he is dragging pegs how much more lean angle does he have to play with? The picture just looks too digitized for me, thats why I think its fake. Not hatin, if its real then big props to him.

Ok here it is. since I will never have the opportunity to make it to deals gap anytime in the near future someone has to bring it here.

Whoever heads out there next, setup a tank camera and film a run. Then post the video here for my ass to drool over. Is that possible??? Any takers??

Maybe I am reading your post wrong but you dont have to tape a camera to your bike. THere are mounts that use sucktion cups (spelling?) I know a couple people on CLSB have these mounts so maybe they will say where you can get one.

Thank you for the offer, but since I am so infrequent at gatherings or rides, I would hate to borrow something and then not know when I could get it back to you. Converting to MPG would be great though.

Forget tape, too insecure. Go ahead and use some superglue or apoxy.... That'll do the trick and make sure the camera will hold. Make sure you use a lot because it is perfectly ok for your paint. Acutally I think it protects your paint. Kind of like waxing
