New Sonic in Joliet

So they are building a Sonic in Joliet right near Rt 30 & Plainfield Road for you Sonic lovers out there.

No clue when it's gonna be open, nothing on the website and it's still being built. Looks to be about 80% done though!

The food and limeade things always look good on the commercials. I've never been there though.

The only reason why this shit is hyped is because of all the commercials they saturated us with over the past years. Nobody likes the food down south where there are many of them. People only go there to hang out because of the open air atmosphere. Ricer heaven on a Saturday night in Orlando.

No other city is saturated with McD and BK like Chicago is that I've been to yet. We have them on every fuggin corner. BK purposely erects a joint within a half mile radius to all the Mcds that go up. Most cities it's almost hard to find a McD and even harder to find a BK.

I don't like it all that much, but for those people who have to have 64 oz of cola in their hands at all times (you all know someone like this...admit it!) it's great. Route 66 coke for like $0.80.

I love the diet cherry limeade on a hot day...but even then I'll maybe have like 3 per year and that's enough for me. Once you get the supersonic breakfast burrito, you will never eat there again. It's gross.

isn't 30 and plainfield rd the same thing?

and I've eaten at sonic before and was less than impressed with their food. they advertise like they're better than the typical fast food place, but really they're not that much different. just a few unique things on the menu and that's it.

now they should open a 5 guys burgers in joliet. I'd be down for that. it's actually good food.

It's just northish of Larkin Ave/Weber Road on route 30/plainfield road. Why is that so hard to comprehend?

Meh. Another burger joint. They don't have Joe's hot dogs, so I'm out.
