The AA wifi works really well; it's not on all flights yet, but they're moving fast. And I have a bunch of free coupons, if anyone ever needs a coupon code. I think they're good until the end of the year.

Are the airlines blocking corporate VOIP systems on laptops or Skype? It is just web/email or is voip communication possible?

We share our building in Itasca with Aircell who does a lot of that work. I think they got AA and Delta.

We have an internal chat system w/voice and I was able to use it. I just tried it real fast, though, because I didn't want to annoy my seatmate. Seemed to work just fine.

His assessment of flyers is totally accurate. What a bunch of complaining idiots. These people get on board all loaded up to the hilt with shit they do NOT need on their trip, dressed like near-hobos, and they complain about the price of the $240 round trip direct flight (um, you can't really drive there that cheaply), they shovel in McDonald's on board, and they complain about what flying was like "back in the day" and claim they did it "way more back then because it was worth it."
And all I can think to myself is "seriously? You look like shit and you act like shit, and you get heartburn ponying up $230 to travel 1500 miles in a speeding silver tube with wings and you can't sit your ass in a chair for 2 hours without complaining; so, tell me, what fancy important company has hired you to make the kind of money you would have to have made to have flown that much MORE back in the day?"

These people don't know what they're talking about; they simply like to complain.

Oh, and by the way, I loved the donkey reference.
