Maybe we can trade?

With so many people out of work.Tight budgets and kids on the way.

I would like to find someone with the tools to repair the facia and eve on my house.

I in return will trade hour for hour.

All things motorcycle or machine shop.

We should all do a better job of networking our skills when money is tight.

Any other ideas?

Gus

Very comendable.

This is what community is about.

I like this idea.

Perhaps we need a special barter or trader sub-section in the classifieds for this.

That's very nice offer MVRC51

But

I've already offered my help at a family level on Ashwins bike.So as long as I'm just one of the people helping.(I would like to put my sticker on the bike though)

That deal your offering would not be in good taste on my part

It's kinda been like that, but it really hasn't taken off. Maybe like u say Greg, put it into the classifieds as it's own Lil forum, but keep it highly regulated, and the crap talk outta it, and even have a positive/negative reports on people just incase.

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

I agree. Kind of like classifieds. You can PM if you want to work with someone. No trash in there. An Itrader or other type of comment system could be nice.

I'm not trying to start anything. But I don't get it? Why is that in "bad taste?"

I'm just curious your point of view.

If your going to work on it already, take his free labor and work on Ashwin's bike and you double dip! haha

As long as it gets done, and is done right, thats all that matters.

i think i understand what gus meant.

he meant out of the kindness he is going to work on the bike for free.

and will not except to withdraw his free work towards the project by accepting someone working off what he already said he is going to do out of his heart.

hope that helps.

I got what your saying. I just didn't see where you were coming from. Thanks for the clarification.

But I've never heard anyone say anything bad about you. So I'm going to consider you a nice guy till you prove me otherwise.

I already had that arranged with Shelly, back off Kotlin.

ON second thought, work it out with Grasshopper.
