New car coming my way

So my company just announced they are switching our company cars. We are moving away from the chrysler 300s and moving to 2010 Ford Fusion SEL. I don't know anything about these cars, just wondering what you guys though and if you had any experience with them. Its another free car so I'm sure i'll be happy with it.

Sounds like we are going to have it loaded with exception of Naviagion and I dont know about sun roof.

Had one as a rental in Vegas last month. Not that exciting, and there's lots of front end chatter when you do neutral drops.

Net: I wouldn't run out and buy one, but there are worse options when it comes to a company car.

I like the look of the sport model a lot. The SEL looks good and it's solid, but mostly I concur with patrick. I was looking to buy one until I drove a bunch as rentals and then I decided they were just "ok."

No way in hell I would buy one and I expect others to have that same opinion. Just wondering how they are.

Looks like I can get a hitch for it so no worries there. Good thing too or I'd have to buy a second car.

IMO, styling is much improved over previous generation and motor trend compares it favorably with camary and accord. Could do worse. Make sure it doesn't come with the texas instruments cruise control component that causes fires.

Well I placed my order today. I am getting a 3 year lease on a 2010 fusion SEL. I chose black. I upgraded to black leather interior, the V6, sun/moon roof, and upgraded to sony sound system with dolby and microsoft sync.

I get the new car in March. Should be a decent upgrade from my ghetto chrysler 300.

Total cost to me for 3 years of personal and business use including gas and insurance...$3k

Boring but reliable and relatively efficient and not terribly sluggish. Good basic transport, will feel MUCH more nimble than the 300.
