microsoft excel PROS i need help

Anyone happen to know the formulas for excel that will a multiply hours by rate and give a total?

Then add that total to other totals for a final number?

In other words

hours worked x Hourly rate = total + totals from other cells giving a grand total from those boxes containing totals

TIA

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

Wat?

Is this what you're looking for?

Edit - I put hourly rate plus hours worked, replace the + with a *

Just put all the data/variables into separate cells, and then in the total cell, write your equation. If the variables are all in one column, it should look something like:
=(sum(A1:A9))*A10
Where A1 thru A9 are the hours worked, and A10 is the rate. (And, for example, if this took 10 rows, this equation would be placed in A11).

If you have one column like this for each person, then you would do the same in columns B, C, D, and so on, depending on how many people there are to track.

The grand total would be in its own cell, anywhere you like, and would be something such as:
=SUM(A1111)
Or you could write it as:
=SUM(A11,B11,C11,D11)
Or
=A11+B11+C11+D11

The trick to excel is inputting all your data first, and then adding equations to perform operations on those data.

Goin on a cougar hunt (repeat)

I'm not afraid (repeat)

Cause I got mad game and my rubbers by my side

By my side (repeat)

Oh, Oh (repeat)

What do I see? (repeat)

Oh look! It's her fat girlfriend! (repeat)

Can't go over her (repeat)

Can't go under her (repeat)

Can't go around her (repeat)

Wingmans got to go through it (repeat... Make motions with arms like you are clearing a way thru her fat)

Goin on a cougar hunt (repeat)

I'm not afraid ( repeat)

Cause I got mad game and my rubbers by my side

Oh, Oh! (repeat)

What do I see? (repeat)

Oh look! It's some cockblockers.(repeat)

Can't go over em (repeat)

Can't go under em (repeat)

Can't go through em (repeat)

Gotta out drink em (pretend to take shots)

Goin on a cougar hunt (repeat)

I'm not afraid ( repeat)

Cause I got mad game and my rubbers by my side

Oh, Oh! (repeat)

What do I see? (repeat)

Oh look! her friend wants to go home. (repeat)

Can't go over her (repeat)

Can't go under her (repeat)

Can't go through her (repeat)

Gotta get the dj to play bon jovi. (pretend you're spinning a record.)

Goin on a cougar hunt (repeat)

I'm not afraid ( repeat)

Cause I got mad game and my rubbers by my side

Oh, Oh! (repeat)

What do I see? (repeat)

Oh look! its last call and the bill. (repeat)

Can't pay over it (repeat)

Can't pay under it (repeat)

Can't smooth talk through it (repeat)

Gotta use her credit card. (repeat pretending to swipe her card)

you're at the cougars place.

Oh,oh! It's dark in here. (repeat)

I feel something (repeat)

It has lots of hair! (repeat)

It has a throbbing cock! (repeat)

It's a tranny!! (love to scream at this part)

(At this point, increase the speed of your thigh slapping and back to the bar, back through the parking lot,

back through the safe side streets, till you get safely home and lock the door.)

I'm not afraid! (Repeat)

I think we all learned I have a scarily intimate relationship with MS Excel...and a bit too much time on my hands.

Do you ever wonder if you added up all the time spent posting on clsb if you could instead learn a new language, pen a bestseller, or, perhaps, raise thousands of dollars for charities in need?

We report fractional cents on environmental projects in the DoD budget. It makes a difference when you add it all up.
However, it's a total PITA to deal with on our end.

Huh? Excel internally calculates to something like 12 or 16 decimal places, and only rounds on display.

We do everything by hand, and then there are like 8 reports on which the numbers have to appear exactly the same. Grr.

I know those shortcuts. I just meant that we do all the work by hand; we don't do it in Excel. They want everything shown to the nearest $0.00 but they want it calculated out to $0.000000000 or something ridiculous like that.

Don't get too ridiculous with Excel, it only supports up to 15 digits in calculations; values longer than that are rounded to the 15th digit.
