Soo....

I googled Nelson Ledges as I was curious about the track...
Then I naturally went to track info...
from there you always have to go check out lap records..
http://www.nelsonledges.com/TFrecords.aspx

and I saw

CLASS TIME AV. SPEED DATE DRIVER CAR
FA 0:58.980 122.075 5/16/2004 Jacek Mucha Ralt RT40

and... you know after that you have to go.. DAMN.. What's a Ralt RT40?

lemme help ya out there
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralt

Wow...
That's pretty damn impressive
Talk about a cool "track day car"

ok not mind blowing..
but...
I'd love to learn to drive better.. and I know a purposebuilt race car is not the "best" way to do that.. but they certainly are fun to look at... and running a 2 mile track in 58 seconds... not too shabby

I agree. it's certainly not the best track I've ever driven on. But I can respect that lap time because we were running 1:50s in the lemons volvo wagon......

I think the fastest guys that weekend were in the mid 1:20s.

Radical Sportscars is an auto manufacturer and constructor of racing cars from England.

SR8
Based on the SR3, the SR8 is a more extreme version intended for street and track use. The SR8 also features the largest engine Radical has ever put in their road cars, with the 2600 cc Powertec RPA V8 constructed by combining elements of Suzuki inline-4s, and producing 363 hp (271 kW). A further variant, known as the SR8LM, increases the engine to 2800 cc and brings power output to 455 hp (339 kW). In August 2009 Michael Vergers, driving an SR8LM, set a new lap record (6 minutes, 48 seconds) for road legal cars at the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.[2] The previous record (6 minutes, 55 seconds) was also set by Vergers, in 2005 at the wheel of a Radical SR8.

in other words i think they make a block that uses 2 hayabusa top ends to make a v8

I know what a radical is (it's awesome but the atom would still be the first love) (not saying I'd kick either out of my garage.

In any case. I guess what I'm asking is... Good info ... But. How does that apply here?
