Incredible. That's probably one of the most expensive homes in this country that is privately owned. Houses like that are usually not mortgaged. Even still, the upkeep on that house, including the staff needed to run it, would easily be 200k a year on the low side to 500k if you had full time staff, cooks, etc... Taxes, I would venture would be in the 150k range per year.

To own that house, really, and put it to its' intended use for entertaining, large family gatherings, lots of cars, etc, your net worth would need to be roughly 1 billion + with an income in the 5-10mil a year range.

i actually think the taxes are closer to 1.5 million a year. Figure 2% of 75 mil is 1.5 million a year. I would imagine with the staff to keep a place like that up being closer to a million a year. Considering the grounds, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, cooks, etc. a million a year plus the 1.5 in taxes. That means with the add 10% for shit im not thinking about, your annual upkeep is close to 3 million a year just to maintain something like that.

If you look at the Playboy Mansion, it costs him about 1 mil a year for his staff. And he throws HUGE parties. If the owner is that much of a baller, then I would agree.

Taxes I meant a month, not a year You are right therre.

Some of the questions asked are answered here:

http://www.stacygottula.com/current.html

http://www.stacygottula.com/imgs/Le_...e_Amenties.pdf

Current owner is:

-Real-estate investor Jeff Greene bought a Beverly Hills property out of receivership for $35 million in 2006 and then put another $15 million into the renovation. Now, instead of selling in a slow market he has put the 25-acre estate up for lease for $250,000 a month. The 43,000-square-foot main house has 11 bedrooms, 14 baths and a 6,000-square-foot ballroom and the property includes six acres of wine-producing vineyards
