We should always reply like this when someone gets butt-hurt because everyone on the board doesnt agree with them:

4. This is a PUBLIC forum and threads are open to any and all comments (within the rules), even the ones you may not like or agree with. You simply cannot post pictures, make comments, tell stories, ask questions etc and expect people to only come back with comments you want to hear.

Yes, you have the right to show-off your bike, talk about your mods, talk about how you outran a 350z on the highway, did a stand-up wheelie in front of the high school, tell stories of how your canyon ride was "off the hook".......and "we" have the right to express how those things were/are unnecessary, a waste of money for your purpose, ugly, stupid, uncalled for, dangerous etc.

That is how a forum works. You say what you want, then other people say what they want. NONE of you have a right to make a thread/post and then say "ok, if you are going to say ______ then don't post in this thread".

If you or anybody can't handle how a public forum works, leave. It is that simple.

I thought there was a rule on gixxer.com that you cant ride track, put on less than 500 miles a year and cant wear a helmet unless by law?

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

He has a point, but not in all cases. If the guy is on an empty road, no one else around, then so be it. I wouldn't give a shit if an experienced rider, who knows better, does what the hell they want with their own bike.

I think a lot of the "negative" feelings for street-only riders, or ones who push limits on the streets, is that they choose to do it where others can get hurt. That's when I think it gets a bit personal and crosses the "ok I need to say something" line.

I rode on the street for quite a while before I rode the track. It can be a pretty intimidating thing to do for the first time, not to mention a pretty hefty investment if your not borrowing a suit, and boots. People can/will get hurt while riding whether it be on a track or the street, but with the extra precautions track riding takes, it increases your chances "to survive" for lack of a better term.
