They take the sausage and send you on your way. Where are they going to store the people at every airport that accepts an international flight, numbnutz?

only from infected countries. Or quantine them in a military base from "unknown country" and after 2 days, no fever, ship them to US.

its an inconvienance(sp) but your going to save kids lives from an outbreak.

Damn that sucks for that chick, I wonder why she can run normal. I really feel pretty bad for her, it would suck to get essentially poisoned by something that was supposed to prevent diseases.
but still:
I wonder what else she can do normal ...

If you are worried about anthrax, go up to East Lansing Michigan I think they make the antidote thing up there.

Leave it to the media once again, for inducing unwarranted hysteria with their stupid sensationalism.

I was talking about the one from 76...
Wasn't that a big oops? I thought I read something about it not being tested properly or something and having tons of cases linked to it..

I haven't heard the media put anything out about Guillain Barre for this one.. I did read they sent a notice to Dr's informing them to keep an eye out for it.. but I don't even know what that means ? (all dr's? some dr's? practices? some hospitals? places just doing shots...? it was to vague.. didn't even post anything about it as I think it's probably bs)... that said.. keeping an eye out for something that was a known issue in the past is smart... Might catch things quicker if you know what to look for

I have never gotten a flu shot.
Keira got her first normal one (not piggy) (half of it so far) with her 1 years.. they put off her last round of hep a for it... still dont know why my baby needs hep a vaccine... If I catch her having unprotected sex or using dirty needles in the first year of life.. or 10.. or 15... Hep A is the least of her worries

Do some research on Hep A. It's really not the least of your worries. You can catch it from fecal matter.

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.

admittedly I haven't done any Hep A research... but...

I just did

Quote:
How could I get hepatitis A?

You could get hepatitis A through contact with an infected person’s stool.

You could get hepatitis A from

* eating food made by an infected person who didn’t wash his or her hands after using the bathroom
* drinking untreated water or eating food washed in untreated water
* placing a finger or object in your mouth that came into contact with an infected person’s stool
* having close personal contact with an infected person, such as through sex or caring for someone who is ill

You cannot get hepatitis A from

* someone sneezing or coughing on you
* sitting next to a person who has hepatitis A
* hugging an infected person
I would say a baby is MORE safe than.. just about everyone else on this one... She drinks "Infant Water"... Everything is kept clean around her.. SHe doesn't have "close personal contact" with anyone who has it (I know we don't)
Nobody better stick a finger in my little girls mouth that has been near "infected stool"... as a matter of fact.. the only person who ever would do that is her Mom

The Dr told me it was in case Mom had it.. and could give it to baby.. I said "We know she doesn't" he said "I know.. but we don't know with all the Mom's.."

You don't know me.. and the internet is fake... for the most part...
but if I am anything.. It's overprotective... Not always a good thing.. but not an easy thing to turn on and off

Vaccination is good... Many bad things can be bad if overdone

I am not telling you what not to do...
Just be careful and try to minimize risk...
Perhaps only eat poo from tested partners.. or at least get a Hep A vaccination before you go around eating poo
