Example of why I have posting rules.

check this post out...

--------------------------

I just got a call from Dominic, apparently Tony (VIOL8R) has been turncoated by a viewer or poster of labusas and they have arrested him. Dom wanted to know if anyone here knows anything.

Cops, Sheriffs, SWAT , ATF, etc. raided his home this afternoon, the place where the party was and arrested him, confiscated everything, EVERYTHING and are still there.

Someone called the authorities, according to Dom, with party pictures apparently and provided enough information for the arrest and siezure.

I am waiting for more information on if there's anything I / we can do (I already offered bail $$$ and whatever is required) to Dom.

I'm really upset, this is the worst day I can think of in many years and the worst this board has ever seen. I know Tony is tough and resiliant but this has to be something on a scale even he has not yet encountered. I know you feel the same way.

I'll post when I have more. He's not at the house, so please don't start calling there., the pigs are still there.

if there's anything you want me to do (***) ***-**** or you have any facts, please call me. There have been rumors that certain peops on this board know who the rats are for fact.

edit: I dont' know who did this. Dom mentioned the party and pics so I wrote (above) that it was someone who knows the board. Although that may be a short leap, it could also be completely inaccurate.

Tim

----------------------

i feel really bad, supposedly there site is being monitored by police, atf, and shit... bad news...

originally posted by Nickslick at Hayabusa.orgthe guy thru a big party. the blew up a car, shot guns (automatics?), and there were other questionable things going on. it was all posted in pictures on the site afterwards.

somebody there turned it over to the cops, or perhaps they were just watching the board.
Thats what happens when you post about illegal shit on a public website. Cops do monitor this site also, thats why Ken, mods and I are always watching post so closly. I dont ever want to be in this position where I have to give info about a member to law enforcement. I know certain members dont seem to care and they go off about dumb shit all the time, thinking they are , invincible, but this is my reasoning, it can happen.

Heres a link to the whole thread over there. http://www.suzukihayabusa.org/cgi-bi...c;f=1;t=008321

It's a reality check because most people think that you two are being too paranoid by filtering the website. What people don't realize is that monitoring the internet is easier for cops since most people here feel safe and will admit things they normally wouldn't. So kudos to you for helping keep people out of trouble.

i have said it long before about this same stuff and people just think i may be an a**hole (like the tollboth, i run through and don't care thread) for warning them about posting illegal activities on the website.

But unfortuanatly there are some young kids on this and other boards that seem they are invivciblew to this stuff and continue to flaunt some really stupid stuff.

I applaude Tony and Ken for keeping this site clean, and a very well respected site!!!!!!

Keep up the enormously hard and good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't exactly need to see this post to know this can happen. My boss's brother is an internet cop. YES!!! an internet cop!!!!!! He surfs the web all day to find people doing things wrong and finding incriminating evidence. I know for a fact that the ATF DEA, some local PD's and other law enforcement Agencies have people to look for stuff like this.

I hope this shows people that the mods around here aren't trying to be power trippn' pricks and just genuinely love this space on the internet and want to protect it

And that my friends is part of the reason I stopped posting on Labusa years ago. Those boys are just trouble waiting for a place to happen. My last post there was about the Talaban being intolerant and trouble with a capital T after they blew up the 500 foot tall statues of budda and was roundly flamed. At the time I thought that these guys just are not worth it. Well, we know what they blew up next don't we. Anyway, I doubt it took a "rat" to cause trouble. We know most sites, yes this one too, are being watched to one degree or another. It's just dumb to post photographic evidence that you are a felon.

Good thing I know that we are all law abiding Joes and more importantly good peps.

illegal activity is illegal activity. weather you do it or not is up to you. just don't post about it and flaunt anything illegal.

that's the differance. if people learn not to post about illegal things, you never have to worry about whether than man is coming after ya.

IF the guy was in Cali, it sure wasnt very bright to post that stuff in the first place. MANY assault rifles and cetain pistols are completely banned from Cali. Building a pipe bomb (if thats what they used on teh car) is a federal offence. Bomb building is taken very seriously by the feds now. They've already gone after some sites that describe how to build one and shut them down.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Thanks for the hard work Tony. I've always thought that talking about illegal stuff on line was not a good idea, but you forwarding this type of info onto us definitely sets the idea in concrete.

I did read a bit more into it and i guess these guys were shooting guns and lit a car on fire or somthing. WTF is that?

There's no argument there. I think the point is.....why give them any reason to watch us. You post about speeding they're not coming after you, but if they recognize you from other pics and areas from backgrounds and other stuff, you can be that are routes will be more heavily patrolled and they will start watching more closely.

It's like this peeps. I am more than proud to be a part of this group of riders at CLSB. I have always refused to clutter my bikes with stickers, but you betta believe I got chicagolandsportbikes on my subframe like a pimpass mofo!!!

Now, I have enough trouble with law enforcement just going out and riding. The last thing I need is some cops to give me shit cuz I have a chicagolandsportbikes sticker on my bike, and they automatically dont like me cuz they see all this stuff on a website explaining speeding and locations of illegal stunts. Hell if he follows me long enough I'm sure he will find a good reason to pull me over. NOW, I don't want for him to see that sticker and decide to follow me for that reason.

I like belonging to a group of great riders with all different skill levels and bike knowledge levels, and I like that there is no bad stigma following us. It's just common sense people. Nobody is saying you are going to federal pound me in the ass prison for popping a wheelie, but if you constantly brag about what a dickface you are then the people around you will be assumed dickfaces, and eventually everyone associated with you is a dickface and why not follow them to see what they will do and pull them over as soon as they do it.

Cheers,
Love,
Sean

Yea I'd think blowing something up would not fall into the same cat. as speeding down the expressway. Illegal has different levels. Oh well, I could be off.

I do agree with Biggy i mean after all i am sure the cops are "lurking" here but as i said earlier it's not the speeding Tony was giving an example. Think about it. Yes it was extreme but just an example. Seriously people do you honestly believe that the police do not watch our site??
