talk about bad luck....

a friend of mine... got his bike stolen last night from the MALL OF AMERICA... of all places right??? fortunately there were security cameras and they got it on tape.... appearently some guys came by and jacked it at exactly 9:58pm and they got one of the license plates... so we'll see what happens... no word yet....
but in general he's just been having bad luck with his bike since he's gotten it.... a yellow '03 cbr 600RR, he dropped it like the first week he got it, his friend dropped it a few weeks later just from sitting on the bike, then he low slided in the city, gotten a speeding ticket from riding too fast on a bridge, then by a restaurant he had his bike parked next to a few bikes and he sorta leaned on his bike and it tipped over -- tipping the bikes NEXT to his bike over... and now THIS.... all this in just a little over two months..... careful where you park your bikes people!!!! lots of jerks out there....

That stinks about the bike..I hope they get the jackasses that took it.

I see youre in Rosemount? My sister lives in Rosemount, I was up there for 3 days last weekend. Shes at the intersection of 42 and 3, across the street from the Kwik Trip.

That sucks dude, I've had mine stolen twice in the five years I owned it, so I truly feel for him.

On a side note, if he does get it back, he needs to sell it or trade it in or something, because man, that bike has jinx written all over it. Even if he gets the same kind of bike, he NEEDS to dump that jinx.

It's like Peter Brady when they went to Hawaii! Remember that Tiki idol?? Yup... same thing! If they get his bike back, bury it!

If he does get it back, I think we'll dub it the "Yellow Fever"

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

Heck, I guess I would report it lost and stolen to the insurance agency, and say that it was in mint condition, never been dropped or scratched. I would not bother reporting all that has happened to it.

Heck, I had someone botch stealing my F4 when I first got it. They tried to jam a screwdriver into the ignition to turn it. Broke the screwdriver tip off, let it in the ignition. They then tried to just push it to the truck, but I had a mountain bike lock on the back wheel. Guess they gave up when they could not pick it up and put it in. LOL
