BAD

lots of issues with those craptastic all in one units from people who have PS3s, Wiis, Xboxs, etc.

Avoid it if I were you.

Remember comcast is in the biz for internet, not router technology, there they get a D.

EDIT

Quote:
you currently lease a Comcast Home Networking Gateway device, combination modem and router, you can exchange it for a separate modem and wireless router. Learn more
Much better, they finally learned those things were pure rubbish.

I install them and they ALL been new in a box. I installed these:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Cisco+Li...ract_desc=null

and these:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NETGEAR+...ters&cp=1&lp=2
So I guess they are both shit

Also when they mail you a Cable box, DVR and Routers, they are all new.

Also, those all in 1.. Gateways.. we don't use them anymore. If our tech goes to a house for ANY reason and the customer has one, the tech MUST replace it with a modem and router.

We don't use the all in ones anymore, if you use a VPN they have issues.

Yea, I read thru too fast, thats why I had to edit my post when I saw they were getting people away from those turds. They also conflicted with game console online access.
