PowerPoint help

I have posted my powerpoint presentation (office 2000) to a school discussion forum. Some people can open and have no problems while others who open it and view the show are prompted to save after viewing each slide. Does anyone know how to get rid of this prompt to keep the presentation professional and running smooth?

Again it is Office 2000 and does contain two videos, could visual basic trigger this? Thanks for the help.

Maybe different versions of PP? I noticed some files made in older version (or other way around) of MS don't work properly on newer version.

Are all the versions of office at the same patch level? I seem to remember - long ago, there was some sort of security patch for a hole in office suite security regarding the shared library, that would cause this type of behavior.

silly questions, but did you post it as a pps (power point show) or a regular power point file. We used to use the pps so that people could play it in their browser and did not need to have power point on their computer. Not sure how that would work with the videos as I haven't played with this stuff in a few years. Good Luck.

I spoke with the school's helpdesk and they said the error is not on my end. They think that either they have open office and Microsoft Office or Powerpointviewer and Microsoft office and office is not set as default possibly. Or they did not download the compatability pack when prompted to. The presentation is saved/posted as a ppp/Presentation
