Where to get 32 gig Micro SD?

Have some traveling to do, and would like to grab a micro SD card for more movies and music - any suggestions on where to get one locally?

I'll sell you mine. I switched back to a 16 gig class 6 card since i'm relying more heavily on apps2sd. Genuine Sandisk, not a chinese knockoff. Pm me if you're interested.

I assume he just wanted a faster card to run apps off the card rather than the phone? Maybe he'll educate us some more.

"The EVO 4G comes with an 8GB microSD card preinstalled, but you can potentially expand it up to 32GB with a larger card. Unfortunately, 32GB models remain quite rare and you’ll need to drop at least $200 for one"

http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/...vs-htc-evo-4g/

So yea, it can handle it, but it might be slow

What I have found

Quote:
I've just put a 32gb sandisk retail (so I know it is real) in the evo and have no issues. It is a class 2, but when tested on my computer it was reading around 11 and writing at 5.5 (almost class 6). No issues so far.

Microwarehouse in Westmont.

I snagged a 32gb class 6 for around $64 back in the summer.... store brand and I've had no problems recording directly to it with my panasonic tm700k

So the Evo comes with an 8 gig, class 2 card. That's okay for most folks. I wanted something faster, so initially pre-ordered a 16 gig class 6 card. I used that for a while until the Sandisk 32 gig class 2 cards became slightly less rare to find. Picked one up and used that for a while.

In recent weeks, when I started diving further into Custom ROMs and started using VirusROM, I discovered Darktremor's Apps2SD. Read more about it here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...hlight=apps2sd

Fundamentally, it's a truer "Apps2SD" implementation vs what Froyo does. And optimally it needs a Class 6 card.

So that's the only reason why I switched back and the 32 gig card is lying around collecting dust again.

Sorry Arch, but we're not talking about the same SD card. 32gb MICRO SD cards only exist in Class 2 right now, and are only made by SanDisk.

It doesnt really matter for my use, but its just one of those - well of course the faster version comes out a week after I buy mine. No regrets - did the best with what was available at the time.

AFAIK, Verizon Wireless is the only retailer where you can get a guarunteed Sandisk 32GB card.

$99

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/s...essoryId=46246

You can take your chances with an overseas eBay knock-off, but I wouldn't recommend that.

Yeah. Looks about the same for the Kingston Class 4. I'm just looking for the highest capacity for my Contour HD cam. I'll probably just end up with a couple 16gb's

When I bought our Canon VIXIA HF S200, I think I found two class 4 32GB SDHC cards for cheaper than this.

Why are you looking for Micro SD vs regular SDHC for a camcorder?
