i have a low wattage iron and wicks, and i have worked on solid state and tube audio amps, probably not as small as what you have there but close, will probably need the big magnifier glass wit light thing

Again, I recommend you look at a schematic to see if the pass-through you
are connecting to is actually what you think it is.
