WTF iPhone4 alarm?

I set my alarm for 4:44 am, and it went off at 3:44 am! The phone still displayed the right time and the alarm showed the right time. Then at 4:44 the alarm didn't go off. WTF?

I heard that users in Europe had problems with their phone going off an hour late, but mine went off an hour early.

Anyone else with an iPhone4 have this problem?

Ugh, I'm going to be freakin' tired today.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Look on the event you set specifically for how much 'warning' you gave it (notify me X minutes/hours ahead of event) and what timezone the event was set for.

The iphone4 is very smart. It was teaching you a lesson for waking up so damn early in the first place!

As far as I know, the Euro/Aussi DST bug only effects recurring alarms. Follow Arch's advice

My time zone is right, and this alarm is a re-occurring one. It's not an event alarm its just the regular alarm clock alarm.

Wednesday's are my early days, in the office by 6, out by 3, working at the climbing wall from 5-10.

In all seriousness, can you export (or email to yourself) the 'alarm' (VALARM) as a .ics file and post the contents?

I'm guessing that will tell us what's up. . .

No idea how to do that. Easy or hard to do?

I don't have an iphone, but some calendar apps allow you to email or export events/alarms... Dunno if Iphone allows you to. ical on the mac does... right-click-> mail event.

My suspicion is it has the wrong offset from GMT associated with the event/alarm object. As for the how (bug, operator configuration error, probably bug)... dunno..

Did it again this morning. Deleted that alarm setting and put in a new one.

Thanks for the assist, guys.

Ok, On Sunday, you'll need to do it again, as we switch back to Standard Time.
