DirecTV Install Costs?

Ive been with DirecTV for 6 years with the original boxes, Dish etc
I want to upgrade to HD boxes (3) and a HD DVR.

When I called on Friday they said it was $400 for the equipment and install. After I got up off the floor and regained my composure, it took me about 45 seconds to get her down to $200 for everything. I told her this still was not even close to what I expected and she put in a "Request" and put me on hold for a couple of minutes and I eventually had to hang up as a result of being at work.

What can I realistically expect to pay for the boxes and install? Be realistic..

Also, am I foolish for considering their HD DVR or should I be going out and buying something else? I havent recorded anything in 10 years and dont watch much TV so GoldStar quality isnt essential.

Id say your being offered free install and free hd equipment from dishnet and let them go from there. Dishnet doesnt charge for their equipment only 5 bucks a box none of this pay 200 dollars for the box crap

I thought directtv also made you pay a monthly fee and you didnt have to pay for the box or are they still practicing that pay 200 for box and pay 5 or 10 a monht and then upon canceling you have to return box with no refund

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .
