Saumsung epic question

Does anyone know if I can copy a whole text conversation and attach it to an email or something?
All i've been able to do is forward each message one at a time. I need it on paper.
I just got this phone so I am not familar with a lot of it yet.

Try holding down the shift key on the slide out keyboard and highlighting what you want to copy.

It just scrolls and doesn't select or highlight anything

I was on holiday this past weekend.

The fiancee's (and her Epic) already left for the day, so I'll check it out tonight. But usually in Android, you can do a long-press on the text and in the submenu that pops up, there'll be a "Select All" which you can subsequently Copy.

Only thing that comes up is Lock Message, Forward, Copy message Text, view details and delete. I tried copy message but it will only do 1 at a time.

I just downloaded like 4 apps for sms backup and they only save to memory card. I used one that claims you can send to email but it didn't work.

That's the app I'd recommend. It's made by google devs and works flawlessly for me. Just set it up in settings and backup all your current messages first. Then it will backup all new messages automatically as they come in.
