easy-tether for android

Just downloaded easy-tether. enables you to tether your android phone to a laptop without paying the fees for hotspot usage. the free version gets you all websites except HTTPS. if you want that you have to pay the $9.99 for the app. I just been playing with it at home and seems to work great, i was gonna go try the 4g later when i'm out. but if it works like all the reviews say, i'll buy the pay version for sure!

Does this get you the wireless hotspot, or you have to actually connect a cable?

I'm sure a non-rooted app is coming that can give me free wi-fi. I don't want to mess with all that.
