3D glasses for Imax 3D

Are there 3D glasses you can buy from a store that work for Imax 3D movies? I hate the ones they give you at the theater. Looking for glasses that have more field of vision coverage.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

IMAX doesn't use RealD like every other theater does (and soon home theaters). They use something different.

If you go somewhere besides an IMAX, you can get the Gunnar or Polaroid RealD glasses which are circular polarized, higher quality optics, less tint, and some higher end ones are even anti-glare coated.

Check Amazon for the Polaroid ones, they are only $30.

Note: You'll still be charged a premium by the theater even if you bring in your own glasses; it's part of the 3D licencing agreement they have to sign to show RealD movies. Though some theaters (like the Tivoli in Downers Grove) are trying to lower the premium for 3D movies for those who bring their own glasses.
