Excel help

Ok , I've looked this shit up online and I still can't get it to work the way I need it to work. Can someone help me!!!

I have a start time and a end time for each project. We need to be able to calculate how much time we spend on each project.

So I "Start" 10:00am "End" 2:00pm would equal 4 hours

Anybody I can e-mail to set this excel sheet up like this?

Bikes can be replaced...people can't...ride safe!!

Will the DATEDIF() Excel function, not meet your needs?

=DATEDIF(Date1, Date2, Interval)

http://www.cpearson.com/excel/datedif.aspx
http://www.oraxcel.com/projects/litl.../datediff.html

Otherwise, I found this:

Yes, so use DATEDIF for hours (or minutes), between each start & stop, then sum them all up later if you need a running total.

Am I missing another requirement?

would calculating the difference between the start and end time work? Just format the result cell as h:mm.
