Wi-Fi Network Key

Ok, I have wi-fi set up @ home, have had the same set up for 4 years now. All my wireless devices have been hooked to it forever.

The PC i orig set the system up with, and consequently had the encryption Key took a shit 8 months ago. I didn't need the key with the new PC cuz its hard wired.

I just bought an iPhone, and want to set it to the home wi-fi, so my question is, how the hell do i get the encryption key now?

Ciao,
Lupi

Depending on how he set it up, he might need to hold the reset button down for five seconds first.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. Hold the reset button down for five seconds and try it again.

Find the model number of your router, and use that plus Google to search for "default password [model]" or some variation thereof. You should be able to track down the default admin login information that way.

Otherwise, you may have to do a factory reset. Google for your model name plus "manual" and hopefully you can find a PDF that will detail everything.

After all the suggestions, I just spent 10 minutes rolling through any PW i've used in the last 3 years and finally got one that worked.

iPhone now connected!
