I'm officially a Mac geek now. I just bought the new Macbook Air 13" online. It's my first Mac (that I bought) other than the iPhones. My first computer training was on a Mac. I took some classes for work on page layout and some Photoshop. It's been a long time so I'm excited to see how it compares to Windows. I should have it in about a week.

I'm liking some of the features so far. Ichat is improved and I like it more than adium now.

Now sure if I like Mission control over spaces

Mission control and launchpad are cool.
Only 29$ so much better than over 100$ for windows upgrade.

Put it on the new iMac last night and haven't spent too much time with it, but I like it so far. My Macbook pro is apparently too old for it though. Sucks since for the $29 you can use the update on all Macs in your home.

I haven't gotten it yet, I will soon. It's sad they dropped the Macbook line, I was going to get one for my daughter for her graduation. I might get her an Air or a low end MBP now instead, but I think the Air would be better for her.

I told myself when I needed a new computer it was going to be a mac. I got a macbook pro and I LOVE it. I won't switch out of windows completely because I use it for day to day activity (work etc) but the mac is such a great machine. The quality, features and everything is top notch.

You can do both, but on VM you cant do lots of stuff, eats to many resources.
I use Solid Works on bootcamp (windows 7 pro) on my 4 year old macbook and works pretty good.

I just received my new Macbook Air yesterday and have been playing with it. It's very cool!

Where you always able to swipe and scroll like on the iPhone/ipad using the trackpad or is that new to Lion?

There's been swipe/scroll for a while but the capabilities/gestures have been expanded over time.

What's the CLSB consensus on Lion?

Worth the upgrade or is it just eye candy?
