Remote Desktop apps?

I see there are a few out there, anyone use one? I'm looking to remote access my home PC via my tablet from anywhere. (mostly work)

-Splashtop Remote Desktop HD
-2X Client RDP/Remote Desktop

I hear good things about Logmein Ignition. I use Logme in, the free version, and works very well for connecting to my home computer and to do maintanance on my mom's computer. No tablet here, so have not tried the mobile version.

Once you decide, please let us know which one and how you like it.

Thanks.

Just looked up this one, seems like they dont support Android 3.0+ yet. boo, looks like it got great reviews otherwise.

Problem with the windows remote desktop, you need a upper end operating system to receive RD connections. I use that when possible, but my mom's computer has the windows 7 premier or something like that, which sounded to be upper end, but it is not and it will not accept the RD connection. Plus, if the computer you connect to is on DSL, the IP address changes, so sometimes you cannot connect. With an application, it is not a problem.

Anyways, sorry for the tangent discussion, but felt I needed to correct you.

we use Kasaya. They have a tablet client on the horizon. I don't think it will work for what you are trying to accomplish though.

to Germany - check out join.me as well. It is free, requires no registration, connects to macs and PCs both. It is also VERY simple to use.

Teamviewer has an Android app. Not sure if it's available for free use but we have the corporate license and it works well from my EVO.
