HTPC? Netflix, hulu, comcast?

Hey guys. I am thinking of ditching Uverse and just building a HTPC. The main things I want are On demand movie rental (itunes?/google?)Netflix, Hulu, and Comcast Xfinity's on demand offerings

Right now my PS3 and WD Live+ does hulu and netflix, but not Xfinity.

Is the best option building a HTPC or getting a prebuilt machine?

Next question which software bundle? XBMC or Boxee?

Don't you have to subscribe to comcast's cable service to watch the xfinity on demand stuff?
Anyway, Look into the new roku players. We love ours.
The newest one has the ability to play other content through the usb port

If you want to try out hulu plus, use this link and it gives you an extra week of free time.
http://hulu.com/r/bME9Sg

I nerd out to BSG on there, Testees, Xfiles, lost, terra nova, south park, etc. etc .

btw, I gave up on my HTPC and use the ps3 solely due to ease of use, speed and what I wanted it to do. I have a media server that all pcs and PS3s access.

seriously...I have an HTPC, but don't do any of those paid services so I can't help you out. I use it to watch DVDs from the library, record OTA television and watch later, and free online streaming shows. There's a lot you can use it for, but I have no experience with comcast on demand stuff.
